Supporting the NAED Education & Research Foundation is possible
through two fundraising initiatives, the Channel Advantage Partnership board directed investment fund and the Annual Contribution Campaign.
Annual Contribution Campaign
Companies can donate any amount of their choosing to the Foundation’s Annual Contribution Campaign. For companies seeking guidance, the Foundation has established suggested giving levels based on a company’s sales volume. Contributions to the Annual Campaign go into an unrestricted, general fund to support all Foundation products and initiatives.
The Channel Advantage Partnership
Since 2003, 48 companies (34 distributors and 14 manufacturers) have invested nearly $8 million in the Foundation’s board directed investment fund, the Channel Advantage Partnership. Board directed investment funds contributions are restricted, protected funds. Gifts may be made to honor or remember specific individuals for their tireless efforts on behalf of their companies as well as the industry. The Channel Advantage Partnership also offers exclusively-named project funding for specific initiatives identified and recommended by Council leaders and the Foundation Board. Contributing companies have the option to earmark their contributions for research projects, educational programs or a combination of the two.
Commitments may be pledged and are typically paid over a period of five years. Commitments begin at $25,000-$50,000 for Associate distributors, $100,000 or more for Council distributors, $250,000 or more for manufacturers.
Contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible, as provided by law.
