NAED Names David Maxwell 2012 VP-Elect for Western Region
By majority vote, NAED’s Western Region Council has named David Maxwell, California district vice president for Graybar, incoming vice president-elect for the region. Maxwell is a 25-year veteran of the industry who has served on NAED’s Western Region Council since 2010.
“The electrical distribution industry is ever changing, and NAED has kept me informed and connected throughout my career,” Maxwell said. “I look forward to sharing my knowledge and encourage others to do the same.”
At Graybar, Maxwell has served on various advisory committees and is the recipient of several internal awards. He credits the electrical industry for providing a wealth of benefits and growth opportunities.
The Western Region is currently under the leadership of Andrew Akers, vice president of D&S Electrical Supply Company. Beginning in May, David M. Crum, vice president of sales and marketing for Crum Electric Supply, will take the Council reigns, with Maxwell following in 2013.
