Calling all aspiring industry musicians, or even those "hidden" musicians, to audition for the NAED's Electrical Industry Band for a one-time, can't miss performance on Monday, May 18th at the 2015 National Meeting Closing Awards Event in Chicago.
This is a great opportunity to inspire industry peers as you take center stage doing what you love.
The NAED Electrical Industry Band has multiple openings for aspiring musicians. If you have experience with one of the following instruments, we want to hear from you:
- Lead Guitar
- Rhythm Guitar
- Rhythm Keyboard
- Vocals - Seeking Male and Female
Auditioning for the band is easy! Record a two-minute video of you playing "Takin' Care of Business" by Bachman-Turner Overdrive. Click here for a link to the instrumental only version of the song that you can use for practice. Submit your video via the link below. The video doesn't have to be high-quality, simply set up smart phone or tablet and press record.
NAED will cover registration fees and travel expenses for band members. The deadline to submit your video is Wednesday, February 11th. The final band members will participate in a joint band practice - time and location will be determined at a later date.
