Join us in celebrating tED magazine's 50th anniversary as we take a look back at their rich history. We will also be honoring the winners of the NAED Achievement Awards, given annually to recognize individuals and companies that have made invaluable contributions to our association and the electrical industry.

  • Arthur W. Hooper Achievement Award: This honor is presented to an individual who has led an exceptional career in electrical distribution spanning many years. Tammy Miller, CEO of Border States Electric, is the recipient of this year's award.
  • NAED’s Distributor Distinguished Service Award: The award is given in recognition of outstanding and dedicated service to NAED and the electrical distribution industry. David Rosenstein, President of ConneXion, and Wes Smith, President of Mayer Electric Supply, are sharing dual-honor as recipients of this year's award.
  • NAED Associate Service Award: This award is presented to an individual who has consistently been active in promoting and supporting the tenets and goals of NAED. Bruce Bittner, CEO of NSi Industries LLC, is the recipient of this year's award.
  • NAED Industry Award of Merit: This award is presented in recognition of a company or individual in the electrical manufacturing business that has been exceptionally active in promoting and supporting the wholesale electrical distribution industry. Encore Wire Corporation will receive this year's award.

Booth Sessions are available on Sunday, April 27 from 1:15 - 5:15 p.m. and on Monday, April 28 from 12:45 - 4:45 p.m.
Meet with top level executives from your trading partners for eight hours over two days. The Strategic Planning Booth Sessions provide direct face-to-face interaction, saving you time and money. Distributors and suppliers are responsible for setting appointments in advance and are encouraged to fill all time slots to maximize the value of the sessions.

Helpful Tips:

  • Supplier members will be assigned a booth only if the sign-up form along with payment is submitted to NAED by March 28, 2014.
  • Appointments should be made as soon as possible and in advance of the conference to avoid scheduling conflicts.
  • Separate appointments should be made for meetings longer than 30-minutes, please do not book back-to-back appointments.
  • To maximize the benefits of an appointment, the individual requesting the appointment should advise the other participants of the meetings purpose and come prepared.

Housing Information:

  • Please note we are working with Passkey again this year. If you register with NAED online, your housing reservation will be processed immediately and you will receive your housing confirmation the same day you register. If you register via fax or mail, it may take up to two weeks to have your housing request confirmed.
  • Requests for housing must accompany conference registration and payment. The hotel will not accept reservations directly at the conference rate.
  • Reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card.
  • Hotel rates begin at $249 per night and are subject to 16.25% tax.
  • Rooms will be assigned on a first come-first served basis. Rooms reserved by NAED on or before April 25, 2014 are very limited.
