Developed in conjunction with the NAED Manufacturers Council, the Green Electrical Upgrades Guides are designed to stimulate the sales of "Green Electrical" products in the Commercial and Industrial market sectors. The guides promote a selling dialog among those involved in the planning and installation of energy-efficient electrical product solutions - such as electrical specifiers, contractors, builders, owners, manufacturers’ reps, NAED distributors, and NAED manufacturers. The guides describe the green electrical products and solutions that have been proven to reduce electrical consumption and operating costs in commercial and industrial buildings.
In critical discussions and project planning sessions for new developments, remodels, or retrofits, the full-color guides act as educational tools and product prompts with illustrations, photos, and checklists for major categories of green electrical products including:

NAED manufacturers and NEMRA reps are encouraged to provide guides to electrical distributors to provide to their clients. NAED distributors are encouraged to use these guides with their own commercial and industrial clients or provide them to contractor customers for them to use with their clients. Some manufacturers may allocate co-op funds for these market-expanding selling tools. Be sure to ask. Contractors may contact their local NAED distributor and request the guides.
