Warehouse Operations Management Session
Note: The sessions are independent of one another so attendees can take them in any order that fits their schedule.
One of the most challenging roles in electrical distribution is managing your branches. Whether the company is a multi-location entity or a standalone facility, the tasks required to effectively manage this operation can be daunting. Both have their unique challenges. In a standalone operation, or managing the headquarters office, there is a lot of support. On the other hand, there is a great deal of oversight and scrutiny. When managing a remote facility, the autonomy is usually greater; but it can sometime feel like you are out on an island. Both are critical functions, yet both require a lot of creativity and juggling skill is. Besides the trial by fire education, have we really invested enough training in these individuals to make them successful?
In this two day course, the goal is to help the participants put down the firefighter helmet and start managing this critical role more effectively. We will focus on the operation of the warehouse and how to drive profitability while managing your assets and team.
