Using
existing equipment data collected during the audit, the solution allows lighting experts to view proposed upgrades and
determine how these changes compare to the cost, energy consumption, and carbon
emissions of the existing equipment. Distributor
energy specialists can quickly create project alternatives and compare them
to determine the best return on investment for the customer's project. The solution gives these professionals a powerful tool to quickly and
accurately determine the best solution based on the customer’s goals and
budget, thereby increasing the chance of winning the
business.

NAED’s Energy Audit Solution powered by ecoInsight will be rolled out in the
following order:

- Phase 3: Building
Controls, Capacitor Systems, HVAC, & Load Shedding
A fourth
phase encompassing renewable energy systems (solar and wind) is being discussed
as a possible extension of the software.
