James Bradley burst onto the national scene as an author in 2000 with his New York Times #1 bestseller book, Flags of Our Fathers, which was released as a movie in 2006 and directed by Clint Eastwood. Flags of Our Fathers tells the story of the six boys who raised the American flag on Iwo Jima and were the subject of the most reproduced photograph in history.
