This specialized EPEC level explains the fundamental information needed to sell automation products within the electrical distribution field. It promises to broaden the students knowledge base and better answer customers' needs in this growing market.

This level has four modules, a capstone project, and the final exam.

EPEC Bronze
EPEC Bronze provides you with the beginning sales skills and product knowledge for over 200 products you work with every day. Each module will guide students through residential, industrial and commercial environments as you learn how to increase your sales by acquiring product knowledge and the relationship between products in a system.

Included in each module is the EPEC Assignment where you will specify products for a project based upon the prints and specifications. Bronze consists of four modules, a capstone project and final exam.

EPEC Silver
EPEC Silver takes you beyond beginning electrical products to intermediate as you dive deeper into lighting, loads, industrial machinery and hostile and hazardous environments. You will expand your product knowledge and sales skills to exceed your customers’ needs while you grow in your career.

As with Bronze, Silver consists of four modules, a capstone project and final exam. EPEC Bronze is a prerequisite for the Silver level.

EPEC Gold
EPEC Gold is the final level with advanced topics of providing quality power, relays, controllers, drives, and energy management.

Once you finish the three modules you will complete the capstone project and final exam that will bring together everything you learned since your first Bronze module. EPEC Bronze and Silver are prerequisites for the Gold level.

EPEC Lighting
This niche takes all of the product knowledge and sales skills from Bronze, Silver, and Gold to create one level detailing only lighting and controls.

Created with Lighting Specialists in mind, this level has five modules, a capstone project, and the final exam.

Built from the knowledge of industry experts and modeled after the EPEC program, VDV provides the knowledge of voice, data, and video products to better recommend products that are appropriate for the needs of customers.

A series of online modules combine text, photos, drawings, specifications, and videos for hands-on experiences. Course exercises use your own manufacturer's catalogs to provide a real-world experience and our industry expert reviewers evaluate the students' work to ensure mastery of material.
