Featuring the results of a 2017 survey with industry professionals, this report includes benchmarks for distributors, general HR practices, organizational statistics, training, and recruiting efforts. Organizational statistics are divided by number of branches, as well as roles such as warehouse, outside sales, and branch managers.
Highlights from report include:
- One-third of distributors require an annual number of training hours to be completed
- Forty-five percent spend more than $500 annually per employee on training
- Thirty-three percent of the workforce have an associate degree or higher
- Sixty-nine percent of NAED members use the NAED Learning Center for education and training
