The Arthur W. Hooper Achievement Award is presented to an individual who has had an exceptional career in distribution that covers the span of many years and has had a “positive impact” on NAED and the industry.

This year's Hooper Achievement Award went to Wes Smith, President & CEO of NAED. He was recognized for an exceptional career in distribution, recently retired from Mayer Electric. 

The award is based on cumulative contributions and was awarded at the discretion of the NAED Award Committee. He will be recognized during the Chair Awards Banquet at the NAED National Meeting on May 21, 2025. 

Nominations were accepted November 15, 2024 – January 15, 2025.
