In 1969, the NAED Education & Research Foundation was established as an educational resource and research arm for our members. Since then the Foundation has been dedicated to raising the level of professionalism within electrical distribution by developing training and education courses and aided our members in business decisions through research.
In order to keep up with the fast pace of change, the Foundation has become a critical factor for the future of the industry. We provide resources to help lessen the tremendous pressure to innovate, embrace new technologies, and perform at a higher level.
As we celebrate our 50th anniversary, we’re proud of the critical research and training that we’ve provided. These resources are a key factor in the success of many of our members. In fact, more than 42,000 people have benefited from the Foundation. They may be one of almost 12,000 EPEC graduates, gained key insights from PAR or another benchmarking study, or gained leadership experience by partnering with NAED to develop new tools for the industry.
We look forward to continuing to support the industry by providing training, education, and research to help our members with their continued success.
In today's business environment, there is enormous pressure to innovate, embrace new technologies, and deliver a first-class customer experience. "Never before has our industry needed your help in keeping up with technological change as well as changing demographics," said Michelle McNamara, NAED Senior Vice President/Executive Director of NAED Foundation. "The best way to thrive is to reinvest in your most important asset—your people. Your Foundation is committed to providing the most relevant content and information delivered in a way that’s easily digested."
Contributions received for the Future Fund go directly toward developing and expanding the educational programs and research offered by the NAED Education & Research Foundation. The resources developed are used in every facet of electrical distribution to make for a better channel overall.

The Impact of NAED Future Fund
This industry has counted on the NAED Education & Research Foundation to help navigate turbulent times like these. The NAED Foundation needs the solidarity of the entire industry to provide support for our research and education, to help better prepare for change.
This year, to celebrate the Foundation's 50th anniversary, we're asking for contributions that will go directly towards specific initiatives, new research, and applicable contents, including:
With your support, current and future leaders and their employees will be better prepared to navigate this new terrain. Please consider making a gift to the 2018-2019 Future Fund campaign in support of the channel.
2019 is our 13th year of offering online training through the NAED Learning Center (NLC). More than half of our distributor members have taken advantage of this free member benefit, and many use the NLC as their corporate learning management system. This year we’ll be launching a brand new NLC, which offers even more autonomy and robust analytics for our member companies. All while delivering a best in class experience for our students.
If you would like to implement one of these programs at your company, schedule a consultation with the NAED Member Engagement Team to help you plan your training curriculum!
