Support Policymakers Who Support NAED
What is the NAEDPAC?
NAEDPAC is a voluntary, nonpartisan political action committee registered with the U.S. Federal Election Commission (FEC) that enables NAED members and certain employees to pool personal, voluntary contributions to support federal candidates who advocate for issues vital to our industry, businesses, and workforce.
Why Should I Contribute?
Regardless of your level of political engagement, decisions made in Washington, D.C. will impact your business and the broader electrical distribution industry. Supporting NAEDPAC amplifies your voice, ensuring our industry’s concerns are heard and addressed.
How Can I Get Involved?
Before giving to NAEDPAC, we need a signed Prior Approval Form from your company. After that, your management-level employees are free to contribute. Contributors may only sign a Prior Approval Form to a single association each calendar year.
How Much Can I Contribute?
Individuals can contribute up to $5,000 per year to NAEDPAC. Supporting NAEDPAC maximizes the impact of your political donations by strategically directing funds where they can be most effective.
Who Determines How Contributions are Distributed?
The mission of the NAEDPAC is to support candidates for elective office who share our pro-business views and understand the industry's concerns. Distribution of funds is determined by the NAEDPAC Committee, in consultation with the PAC Treasurer. Regular reports will be submitted to the PAC Committee and NAED membership.
