In 2019, the NAED Foundation commissioned one of its most significant research studies called Building a Connective Business. This study was carried out to prepare our industry to meet evolving customer expectations in a more digitally enabled B2B marketplace. The Next Level Now Campaign is an industry-wide fundraising effort that aims to build on this work by helping businesses understand how to navigate their unique journeys and provide the tools and expertise to do so more with greater efficiency and effectiveness.

 

The Campaign will ensure NERF has the financial resources to move quickly without pulling resources away from our existing education and research programs that continue to be widely utilized by many. The funds secured through this effort will be dedicated to developing insights, tools, and resources that enable companies to improve their capabilities more seamlessly.

How will this benefit the channel?

Through this Campaign, NERF will expand its ability to serve businesses at all stages of their digital evolution to mitigate the risk, time, and cost associated with exploring new processes, platforms, and technology. Developing enhanced capabilities will lead to a better user experience across the channel: customers will be more satisfied, distributors will be more efficient, suppliers will be more effective, and the workforce will be more enthusiastic about the environment in which they work.

Who should get involved in the campaign and why?

The Foundation is seeking financial support and collaboration from anyone interested in the long-term success of the electrical distribution channel. Ultimately, this initiative will benefit all stakeholders ranging from distributors, manufacturers, and their customers. If you would like to do your part to ensure a better future for our industry, consider supporting this initiative.

 

By leveraging the scale and shared funding of the entire industry, the Foundation can act swiftly to identify, prioritize, and develop solutions for companies of any size or scope and at any stage of their digital journey. Harnessing the industry’s collective experience and knowledge will mitigate the risks and costs that come with managing these changes alone.

Is there a minimum investment level to be involved and recognized?

There is no minimum investment level to participate. All commitments will be accepted and are appreciated. Additionally, financial support can be pledged over a period of five years to offer additional flexibility and accommodate budget planning.

All financial supporters of the Campaign will be recognized for their participation in accordance with the tiered recognition program outlined below. All investments, regardless of the amount, will be publicly acknowledged at the appropriate time in accordance with the plan.

  • Visionary Circle: $1,000,000 ($200,000/year for 5 years)
  • Icon Circle: $500,000 ($100,000/year for 5 years)
  • Founder Circle: $250,000 ($50,000/year for 5 years)
  • Benefactor Circle: $50,000 ($10,000/year for 5 years)
  • Supporter Circle: $25,000 ($5,000/year for 5 years)
  • Friend Circle: Less than $25,000 pledged over 5 years

 

Note: Pledge payment schedules can be customized to fit your budgetary parameters and preferences if you wish to fulfill your commitment in less than five years.

When is the Foundation asking for support? How do I get involved?

The Foundation is actively seeking support for the Campaign through the 2024 NAED National Meeting, during which time the funding phase of the effort will culminate. Members of the Board of Directors and other champions of the initiative are in the process of reaching out to NAED members and other industry stakeholders.
