HOUSING

Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel

  • Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Check-out time is 12:00 p.m.
  • The group rate is $169 per night plus 17.5% tax.
  • Requests for housing must accompany conference registration. The hotel will not directly accept reservations at the conference rate. 
  • Rooms will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. 
  • The cut-off for hotel reservations is April 5. However, rooms may run out prior to this date.
  • The housing link to book your room will be on the confirmation page as well as in the email you’ll receive after your registration has been processed.

COVID REGULATIONS

NAED continually puts the health and safety of our members, their associates, and our staff as a top priority. We are monitoring the latest CDC recommendations for our in-person events and will work to follow all recommended protocols.  At this time, NAED is actively planning to hold the Adventure Conference in-person at the Renaissance Harborplace Hotel.

While NAED will make every attempt to follow required mandates, we encourage you to stay up-to-date by monitoring the following local regulations, as they can change at the last-minute: Baltimore regulations; Hotel protocols.

 

For the safety of all meeting attendees, we are sharing the following reminders:

  • NAED is following the CDC guidelines for quarantine and close contact recommendations for those who come in contact with an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19.
  • While attending the Women In Industry conference, if an attendee develops any COVID-19 symptoms or tests positive for COVID-19, the attendee should self-isolate in their guest room and notify NAED at memberengagement@naed.org.
  • Hyatt protocols state that guests who are unvaccinated are required to wear face masks or coverings in hotel indoor public areas, as well as outdoors where social distancing is not feasible (with some limited exceptions). More information here.

 

NAED is also asking attendees to follow these recommendations:

  • Please wear a face-covering indoors when not eating or drinking.
  • Keep six feet distance from other attendees whenever possible.
  • Wash your hands frequently.
  • Monitor your health and well-being and avoid being with other attendees if you feel you have a temperature or COVID-19 symptoms.

TRAVEL

GETTING THERE

The hotel is approximately 8 miles from the Baltimore/Washington Thurgood Marshall International Airport.

A taxi will run approximately $30-$40; an Uber or Lyft will run approximately $25-$40.

April is an enjoyable spring month in Baltimore, Maryland, with temperature in the range of an average high of 63°F and an average low of 46°F.

Recommended attire for NAED events is business casual.

CANCELLATION POLICIES

EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • Cancelations received by NAED 7 days prior to the conference will be charged a processing fee of $100 per registrant canceled. To cancel, registrants (or their delegates) would select “My registrations” from their profile page, select the event and person they wish to cancel, and select “Cancel”.
  • Substitutions received in writing will be accepted at any time at events@naed.org.
  • NO SHOWS (registrants who do not attend the conference and have not canceled 7 days prior to the conference) WILL NOT RECEIVE A REFUND.

HOUSING CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • Up to 30 days prior to arrival there is no cancellation charge.
  • From 29 to 14 days prior to arrival attendees will be charged one (1) night’s room and tax.
  • From 13 to 0 days prior to arrival attendees will be charged two (2) nights’ room and tax.
  • Those who fail to cancel will be charged two (2) nights’ room and tax.
