About The NAED Foundation

The NAED Education & Research Foundation (NERF) is a 501(c)3 charitable foundation that was founded in 1969 to provide education, training resources, and industry research that creates a stronger distribution channel now and in the future. The Foundation is aligned in mission with NAED and has proudly supported the advancement of the electrical industry for more than 50 years. Over the course of its history, NERF has played a pivotal role in developing the industry’s workforce and delivering market insights that enable distributors, manufacturers, and their customers to succeed.

In 2019, the NAED Foundation commissioned one of its most significant research studies called Building a Connective Business. This study was carried out to prepare our industry to meet evolving customer expectations in a more digitally enabled B2B marketplace. The Next Level Now Campaign is an industry-wide fundraising effort that aims to build on this work by helping businesses understand how to navigate their unique journeys and provide the tools and expertise to do so more with greater efficiency and effectiveness.

NAED LEARNING CENTER

The NAED Learning Center (NLC) offers a cloud-based, centralized destination for industry employees as support throughout their careers. More than half of our distributor members have taken advantage of this free member benefit, and many use the NLC exclusively as their corporate learning management system.
