Keynote Speaker

Tim Hines is a global keynote speaker and business coach who believes that an entrepreneurial mindset is the key to success and helps travel industry professionals accelerate their growth by guiding them to be more collaborative, innovative, and influential. He’s the author of the book, The Marketing Starter: How an Entrepreneurial Spirit Will Make You a More Savvy Marketer and he also hosts The Marketing Starter Podcast. He is a 3-time founder and for nearly 20 years, Tim has been teaching individuals, teams, and audiences around the world how to use an entrepreneurial mindset to elevate their brands and themselves and has worked with companies like AmTrav, Dialpad, Tribune Media, Ticketmaster, and the CIA. Fun fact; he’s a trained standup comedian and a licensed marriage minister!

KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Danielle Guzman is the Enterprise Head of Social Media for Marsh McLennan, based in New York City. Danielle has over 15 years of experience in international, multilingual and multicultural work. The majority of her career has been spent working overseas, helping organizations develop and launch products and services, and drive digital innovation in more than 51 countries.

Today Danielle champions that experience in her role at Marsh McLennan, bringing conversations to life on social media through an integrated brand, employee advocacy, sales and influencer marketing strategy. She is an active creator and futurist on social media, and a LinkedIn Top Voice, sharing insights and tips for individuals and organizations to build their social media presence.

DESCRIPTION: Come explore the beautiful city of Charlotte with your fellow conference attendees on an open-air bus. You’ll explore haunted pubs, hotels, old buildings, and a chilling cemetery along the way. Ghost sightings are not guaranteed, but you’ll definitely make lasting industry connections through this unique conference offering.


Bowlero Charlotte

WHEN: Wednesday, August 7, 6:00 PM
PRICE: Free to attend
DESCRIPTION: Continue networking with your colleagues over dinner and games at local bars and restaurants in downtown Charlotte. First stop: Bowlero, second stop: your new marketing community.

  • Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
  • The group rate is $229 per night plus 15.25% state and local taxes. The rate is inclusive of a $7 rebate payable to NAED to help offset program costs.
  • The link to book your room will be in the "Thank you for registering" confirmation email.
  • The cut-off for hotel reservations is July 10, 2024. However, rooms may run out prior to this date.
  • Requests for housing must accompany conference registration. The hotel will not directly accept reservations at the conference rate.
  • If you cannot attend a conference that you have registered for, please refer to the Event Cancellation Policy below.

Recommended attire for NAED events is business casual.

NAED POLICIES

EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • Cancelations received by NAED 7 days prior to the conference will be charged a processing fee of $100 per registrant canceled. To cancel, registrants (or their delegates) would select “My registrations” from their profile page, select the event and person they wish to cancel, and select “Cancel”.
  • Substitutions received in writing will be accepted at any time at events@naed.org.
  • NO SHOWS (registrants who do not attend the conference and have not canceled 7 days prior to the conference) WILL NOT RECEIVE A REFUND.

 

HOTEL CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • Up to 30 days prior to arrival there is no cancellation charge. 
  • From 29 to 14 days prior to arrival attendees will be charged one (1) night’s room and tax. 
  • From 13 to 0 days prior to arrival attendees will be charged two (2) nights’ room and tax.  
  • Those who fail to cancel will be charged two (2) nights’ room and tax.
