iBelongHere Update
Dear NAED Members,
Over the past two years, NAED has been honored to collaborate with iBelongHere (IBH) to support workforce development with a focus on inclusion in our industry. IBH was founded in 2020 by four industry leaders and supported early on by eight member companies. Since then, iBelongHere has brought meaningful energy and perspective to the electrical distribution community through the VOICES series, which has helped elevate stories and insights that strengthen our shared understanding of inclusive workplaces.
Some changes in the collaboration will be coming in 2026 between NAED and IBH. While both organizations remain committed to workforce development in our industry, IBH will lead their work and the VOICES series independently from NAED. This means that they will engage directly with the IBH Community and VOICES followers versus through NAED. At the same time, NAED will focus on advancing our comprehensive Workforce Development strategy—an imperative designed to help members attract, develop, and retain the talent required for long-term competitiveness. NAED will continue to support IBH’s efforts to promote inclusion across the industry. Together, we share a commitment to building a stronger, more vibrant workforce for the years ahead.
