LEAD Conference

San Antonio, TX | San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter

DECEMBER 15-17, 2021

EARLY BIRD CUTOFF: Extended to November 19, 2021

NAED continually puts the health and safety of our members, their associates, and our staff as a top priority. We are monitoring the latest CDC recommendations for our in-person events and will work to follow all recommended protocols.  At this time, NAED is actively planning to hold the LEAD Conference in-person at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter.

Conference Information

These last 18 months have been full of unknowns. This year at our LEAD Conference we will focus on leading in times of change and ambiguity. No matter what stage you are in your leadership role, you will learn how to stay optimistic, positive, and forward-thinking as you lead your team through times of uncertainty.

Who Should Attend

LEAD is open to leaders at any experience level who are in search of a path to improve their skills. We encourage you to sign up or share with others within your organization seeking to grow. There will also be a special award portion of the event where winners of tED Magazine’s 30 under 35 award are celebrated during the conference and encouraged to attend.

Blessings in a Backpack
LEAD to FEED will look a little different this year as we have partnered with Blessings in a Backpack to pack bags of food for children in the San Antonio area.

Blessings in a Backpack mobilizes communities, individuals, and resources to provide food on the weekends for school-aged children across America who might otherwise go hungry.

We hope you can join us for this wonderful cause — packing bags for children at the hotel — on Wednesday, December 15th from 12–2 pm. Registration is $40 per person and all registration funds for this optional event will go to benefit Blessings in a Backpack. If you cannot attend in person but would like to donate monetarily, you can find the link on the event website.  We will have box lunches available for those packing bags.

This event is sponsored by OmniCable.

30 Under 35 Award Winners

For the 10th year, tED magazine has selected 30 people as the best and brightest young stars of our supply chain in our “30 Under 35” contest.
This year’s winners were featured in a July digital-only issue of tED magazine and will have individual profiles posted on over the next 12 months. Winners will also be honored at the NAED LEAD Conference.

LEAD committee members Kathleen Watson at ABB, Victor Lewis at OmniCable, and Greg Reese at Globalux LED joined the “DistributED with tED magazine” to explain why they picked the theme “Embracing The Gray”, the value in the roundtable discussions at the LEAD Conference, and a special, mystery event that will be happening at this year’s LEAD Conference.
