NAED is committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment for all meeting attendees. This Meeting Policy applies to all NAED meeting-related events, including those sponsored by organizations other than NAED but held in conjunction with NAED events, in public or private facilities.

NAED has zero-tolerance for any form of discrimination or harassment, including but not limited to sexual harassment by participants or our staff at our meetings. If you experience harassment, or become aware of any incidents of unacceptable behavior, NAED asks that you inform Ed Orlet, NAED Interim CEO and Sr. Vice President of Government Affairs & Strategic Projects,, 314-812-5320, so that we can take the appropriate action.

Responsible Drinking

Personal Safety and Security

NAED works diligently to provide a safe and secure environment at its meetings and events by working with venue staff to make sure meeting participants are safe. We ask that all attendees report any questionable or concerning activity to NAED staff so that they can take immediate action. No concern is too small–if you see something, say something.

  • Do not carry a lot of cash or credit cards.
  • Utilize the hotel room safe.
