Recruiting, retention, professional development and succession planning require new perspectives and skills in our industry.
Many of our NAED members have embarked on the "Diversity and Inclusion" journey, using Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to help with recruiting, retention and professional development of a more diverse workforce. ERGs are also used to advise leaders on key business issues from the perspective of their demographic.
The challenge for many organizations is how to get started and how to keep the ERGs productive and sustainable for the long-term. A panel of subject matter experts will discuss these issues and more, sharing the importance of engaging leadership and male allies and being connected to business strategy for the greatest impact on the organization and its ERG members.
